Corpus Christi – Krisztus Teste

A test feje Krisztus (Efez 1:22; 4:15; Kol 1:18), a test pedig az Ő kiteljesedése, melyben mindenütt jelen van (Efez 1:23; Kol 2:19). A testnek sok tagja van, de a test egy. Isten a tagokat akarata szerint helyezte el a testben (1Kor 12:12, 14, 18, 20). A legerőtlenebbeknek tűnők (is) elengedhetetlenek (1Kor 12:22). Krisztus teste nem egy aránytalan torzó (1Kor 12:17), hanem tökéletesen van megszerkesztve, melyben minden tagnak megvan a maga funkciója a szerint, ahogyan azt Istentől kapta (Efez 4:16). Isten kiegyenlítetten szerkesztette egybe a testet: a kevésbé ékes testrészek el vannak rejtve a szem elől (talán úgy, ahogy a szervek is láthatatlanok, mivel be vannak ágyazva), melyekre az ékes testrészeknek nincs szükségük (1Kor 12:23-24). Az egész test pedig kapcsok és kötelek segítségével van egybeszerkesztve (Kol 2:19; Efez 4:16).

The body of Christ

The head of the body is Christ (Eph 1:22; 4:15; Col 1:18) and the body, the fulness of him that fills all in all (Eph 1:23; Col 2:19). The body has many members but the body is one. God has set the members as it has pleased him (1Cor 12:12, 14, 18, 20). Those members of the body, which seem to be more feeble, are (also) necessary (1Cor 12:22). The body of Christ is not an improportionate torso (1Cor 12:17), it is compacted perfectly in which every member has its own function according to the way it was given from God (Eph 4:16). God has tempered the body together: the less honourable members are concealed (maybe the same way as the organs are embedded) for which our comely parts have no need (1Cor 12:23-24). And all the body by joints and bands are knit together (Col 2:19; Eph 4:16).
